Site Selection and Visitation System: Identify, Evaluate and Simulate Contingency Airfields to Support Agile Combat Employment
Smarter Reality’s Site Selection and Visitation System (SSV) empowers the USAF to identify, evaluate, and rank contingency locations using current satellite data and perform a virtual site survey of an AI-generated, interactive 3D model of the airfield. SSV supports the USAF with executing agile combat employment which calls for deployable combat wings to rapidly deploy and operate from multiple expedient locations across the Pacific. Users supply criteria (such as length, range to target) and SSV provides potential landing sites (including both active and expedient landing sites) in a search engine style result along with a suitability score. Users can then select a site, drill down into the details and explore a real-time generated 3D model suitable for emergent site planning and operations.
Scalable Passive Acoustic Receiving and Targeting Nodes (SPARTN)
Hyperion has developed the Scalable Passive Acoustic Receiving and Targeting Nodes (SPARTN) system for the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command. It replaces the Hostile Artillery Locating System (HALO) with significantly enhanced capabilities. SPARTN improves accuracy in locating Points of Origin (POO) and Points of Impact (POI) for enemy artillery and mortars, while reducing logistical and cognitive burdens for Marines. Initially funded through the SBIR program, SPARTN progressed through multiple phases of development, culminating in a Phase III acquisition contract in July 2023. The SPARTN system has a TRL 8 and addresses the DoD’s needs for delivering cutting-edge counter-fire solutions to enhance the warfighter's battlefield effectiveness.

Sea-Launched Aerial Drone
LeVanta Tech is developing the HALIA, a first of its kind sea-launched aerial drone. The HALIA provides a persistent sea-air interface capable of high-speed flight with low detectability. There is a gap in current technology. Aerial drones have limited flight time and cannot stably float on the water. Even helicopters and seaplanes cannot land on the ocean and float in rough seas. Subsea and surface vessel drones can have endurance but are slow. The HALIA conserves power while floating and can fly at high speed as needed.
